Ready to start August!!

​So I started off my Sunday by looking ahead and setting some goals but I also spent some time looking at how far I have come.

On June 29th 2015 I started the 21 Day Fix.  On that day I weighed 200.3 lbs.  My BMI was obese!!  I set my long term goal to get my BMI into the healthy range. With my first short term goal of losing 10 lbs.
As of Monday July 25th I weighed 146.1. I have lost 54 lbs and 47 inches in 13 months. My BMI is in the healthy range!! Yahoo!!
Looking back over the past year, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed it. I have eaten lots of food that I have enjoyed. I have worked out more then I ever have knowing that my coaches Jennifer Robertson, Deanna Robertson and all of the ladies in my accountability groups were there supporting me and cheering me on!! 


Week 2

  1. Last week was a great week!! The weather here is terrific!! Summer has finally arrived!! I do find that the summer weather does make it harder to stay on track. With the heat comes the temptation of ice cream and cold alcoholic drinks.  Luckily 21 Day Fix does allow for some treats. I do try to be as good as I can be but my general rule is all things in moderation!! Now I do have to work on the moderation part though!!

Here we go!!

I turned 50 in April and I have lost over 50 lbs in the last year. I have 3 grown children and I am enjoying life to the fullest! I would like to help others get healthier and have a happier life so I thought I would give blogging a try. When I started out I was around 200 lbs and I am now about 148. What a difference 50 lbs makes!! I feel like I have so much more energy then a year ago! I really don’t feel like I am on a diet. I eat every 2 or 3 hours and I really don’t feel like I am missing out on anything at all.
